Welcome to BASKETBALL SHOWCASE.  The club program was started seventeen years ago to promote the education and development of youth basketball in San Diego County.  It is our goal to provide wholesome, professional, state-of-the-art instruction of FUNdamental through advanced skill development to all levels of playing ability.  We will provide opportunities for people of all ethnic backgrounds or gender.

SHOWCASE nurtures the athletes along at their own pace; we do not compare players with their peers.  Since basketball is a game of constant action-reaction, we stress the importance of working out in game situations.  As the student-athlete develops their talent they will have the opportunity to travel to local and national tournaments.  At these tournaments they will play against the best competition that the game has to offer.  Here is where the college coaches gather to watch basketball and where the players have the opportunity to be "SHOWCASED."

We take great pride in our work ethic and the fact that we do not go out and “select” players to play for us. Our focus is on teaching players not only the game of basketball, but more importantly, we teach the lessons of life played out through basketball. We can’t guarantee wins, but we will guarantee you will learn the game, learn something about your character, and work hard.

SHOWCASE FACTS – We are the founders of club basketball in San Diego County, have made a positive impact on thousands of student-athletes, have had 10 BCI All Americans, and assisted the high school coach in getting over 50 players college scholarships.  Players have gone to schools like Alabama, Santa Barbara, UNLV, USD and San Diego State.  We are here to serve.

SHOWCASE IS OFFERING THE FOLLOWING:

1. Group workouts for those players who want to work out but not be placed on a team.

2. Individual workouts for those players who really want to develop a certain skill or train at a specific position.

3. Local teams that culminate on June 30, 2008.  This team will play in local games and leagues.

4. Traveling team(s) that culminate on June 30, 2008.  This team will play in local and state tournaments.

5. Traveling team(s) that culminate on July 31, 2008.  This team will play in local, state, and national tournaments.
